Comprehensive treatment of intracranial and intraspinal tumors, especially complex skull base tumors;
Microneurosurgeries for hemorrhagic/ischemic cerebrovascular diseases, including carotid artery stenosis, moyamoya disease, intracranial artery stenosis, intracranial aneurysm and cerebrovascular malformation, especially treatment of complex cerebrovascular diseases by extra-/intra-cranial bypass;
Minimally invasive surgical treatment of hemifacial spasm and trigeminal neuralgia
Biographical sketch
After graduating from Tianjin Medical University in 2011, Dr. WANG Kun obtained his M.D. at Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Then he completed the training in skull base anatomy and extra-/intra-cranial bypass at Tianjin Huanhu Hospital in 2017.
As the Assistant to the Director,Dr. Wang has engaged in clinical practice, scientific research, and teaching on central nervous system tumors, hemorrhagic/ischemic cerebrovascular diseases, hemifacial spasms and trigeminal neuralgia. He has been responsible for or participated in multiple national or provincial medical research projects and published more than ten papers in his field. Dr. Wang also won the prize of Zhejiang Medical and Health Science and Technology Award as the second participant.
