After graduating from graduate school, Dr. HU Sunhong has worked in the SRRSH Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery for over 30 years. He studied in Germany for 3 years, earned a doctoral degree, and pursued further studies at Loma Linda University Medical Center in the United States and Australia. He possesses extensive experience in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of common and frequently occurring diseases in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. His specialties include drug and surgical treatments for the nasal cavity, sinuses, anterior skull base, nose-eye-related disease, and skull base tumors. Additionally, he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of throat inflammation, tumor diseases, deafness, and otitis media, among others. He is proficient in various minimally invasive procedures such as sinus endoscopy, early laser treatment for laryngeal cancer, and the diagnosis and treatment of laryngeal and neck tumors. He has led multiple studies on fungal sinusitis and olfactory dysfunction, receiving funding from the National Natural Science Foundation, Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission, and the Education Department, among other funding sources. He has published dozens of related papers in professional journals. Furthermore, he undertook otolaryngology teaching at Zhejiang University School of Medicine and served as the responsible professor at the Otolaryngology Teaching and Research Center of Zhejiang University.
