Dr. LI Gonghui specializes in basic research on genitourinary tumors, a series of studies on septic shock induced by upper urinary tract lithotripsy and "Medicine-Engineering-Informatics" interdisciplinary research on nanobiophotonics applied in diagnosis and treatment for urinary diseases.

He is also a core member of the national endoscopy technology innovation team. He has rich experience in robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery for prostate cancer, bladder cancer, renal cell carcinoma, and adrenal tumor, early in China to carry out single-port laparoscopic surgery and transperineal radical prostatectomy with da Vinci Surgical System. Dr. Li has led and participated in several projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province. Dr. Li has published numerous academic papers as the first author and corresponding author, with a total impact factor of more than 600.
