Biographical sketch
Dr. QI Ming received his master's degree in human and medical genetics from Fudan University in 1985 and his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh in 1991. He did his postdoctoral training in pharmacology from 1991-1994 and his clinical fellowship in Molecular Genetics at the University of Washington from 1994-1998. He was certified in clinical molecular genetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics in 1999. He joined the faculty of University of Rochester Medical School in 1998 as an Assistant Professor to Professor. He has over 100 research papers published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, including Nat Genet, Human Mol Genetics, JAMA, Circulation, Am J Med Genet, Human Mutation, etc.
