Biographical sketch
In 2009, Dr. SUN Yaxun obtained his doctorate in cardiovascular medicine from Peking University School of Medicine. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Masonic in the United States from 2017 to 2018. He has mainly engaged in the implantation and programming of cardiac implantable electronic devices, radiofrequency ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, refractory cardiomyopathy, inherited cardiovascular disease, prevention of sudden cardiac death, and diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart disease. He proposed a novel interventricular septal volume reduction procedure for obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. He secured multiple national and provincial grants and reported multiple gene mutations associated with sudden death. He wrote and participated in the writing of multiple guidelines and published dozens of peer-reviewed articles.
