Action pathways and possible mechanisms of various arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, atrial tachycardia and ventricular tachycardia; the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine extracts in the treatment of arrhythmias and the research and development of related medical engineering products, and the research and development of new physiological pacing technology.
Biographical sketch
Dr. SHENG Xia, Ph.D., is a chief physician and master's supervisor in the SRRSH Department of Cardiology. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, especially arrhythmia. He provides services including the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases in cardiology, implantation, programming and optimization techniques of pacemakers, CRT and ICD, and conduction system pacing; radiofrequency ablation treatment technology for common arrhythmias such as supraventricular tachycardia and atrial fibrillation. At present, he is responsible for two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, two projects funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province, and a number of department-level projects. His relevant papers have been published in the top cardiovascular journal JACC.
