Biographical sketch
Dr. MENG Wenfang graduated from Zhejiang Medical University in 1988 and obtained a Ph.D. in cardiovascular disease from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2002. She studied at University of Washington School of Medicine in 2002 and engaged in basic research on aortic valve calcification at Heart Science Center, National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London from 2006 to 2008.
With many years of experience in emergency medicine, general internal medicine, and general practice, Dr. Meng started working in cardiovascular internal medicine in 2008. With rich clinical experience, she is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of common and frequent diseases in cardiovascular internal medicine, such as coronary heart disease, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, hypertension, arrhythmias, syncope, and heart failure. She is particularly qualified for the rescue of critically ill patients and the standardized management of chronic diseases, focusing on individualized and comprehensive treatment for patients, emphasizing comprehensive risk factor management for patients, and prevention and rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases.
