YE Yang Cardiology

Title:Senior Consultant

Degree/diploma:M.D., Ph.D.

Areas of focus:
Research on pacing and electrophysiology, especially basic and clinical research of devices therapy of heart failure; His and Left bundle branch pacing; conduction system pacing implantation and cardiac biopsy in challenging cardiomyopathy and cardiovascular diseases including Fabry and amyloid and LBBB associated cardiomyopathy; research on cardiac magnetic resonance on heart failure and sudden death.

Biographical sketch

Dr. YE Yang graduated from Wenzhou Medical College in 2005 and obtained a PhD in cardiovascular medicine from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2010. She was a visiting scholar at Essen Center in Germany for three chamber pacing implantation and training. She completed the cardiomyopathy imaging fellow training at the Barts Heart Center in the UK.

She has mainly engaged in the clinical practice, scientific research, and teaching work of physiological pacing implantation for various arrhythmia, atrial fibrillation, and cardiomyopathy, including the diagnosis and precise treatment of heart failure cardiomyopathy, bradycardia, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, etc., especially the diagnosis and treatment of difficult cardiomyopathy through precise implantation of physiological pacing and imaging myocardial biopsy. Her two original works on physiological pacing have been cited in the first edition of the conduction system pacing consensus in China and the latest HRS physiological pacing guidelines. She has hosted one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and two projects funded by the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province. Published over 20 articles on pacing or imaging as the first or corresponding author, she has assisted multiple domestic centers in developing new technologies including conduction system pacing and image-guided myocardial biopsy, and is committed to promoting the use of physiological pacing implantation in the treatment and application of heart failure, as well as precise diagnosis and treatment of cardiac imaging combined with myocardial biopsy, and prevention of sudden death.
