Catheter ablation therapy for atrial fibrillation, premature ventricular contractions, ventricular tachycardia, and supraventricular tachycardia; especially the interventional treatment of difficult, complex, critical, and recurrent cardiac electrophysiological diseases.
Biographical sketch
Dr. LIU Qiang graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2007. He is the first disciple of the renowned electrophysiology expert Dr. JIANG Chenyang, and has worked at SRRSH since graduation. From 2015 to 2017, he studied at Ciders-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, USA, and under the guidance of Prof. WANG Xunzhang, an internationally renowned electrophysiologist. Since 2007, he has engaged in catheter ablation therapy for atrial fibrillation, premature ventricular contractions, ventricular tachycardia, and supraventricular tachycardia. He is particularly skilled in interventional diagnosis and treatment of complex, difficult, and critical cardiac electrophysiological diseases. He has done a lot of pioneering work in the field of fascicular ventricular tachycardia. The mechanism research and catheter ablation treatment of this disease are at the forefront of the world. He published dozens of SCI papers in major international journals on cardiac electrophysiology and participated in multiple national and provincial medical research projects.
