Overview
The Department of Clinical Nutrition of SRRSH, founded in 1994, is an distinctive independent discipline with comprehensive advancements in medical treatment, educational initiatives, scientific research collaboration, etc. Leveraging the hospital's clinical resources, the department extends nutritional services to all patients in the hospital. It is mainly responsible for nutritional screening, assessment, treatment and configuration of therapeutic diets for inpatients. The department has established specialized clinics dedicated to nutritional diagnosis and treatment, aimed at addressing and resolving the nutritional and dietary queries specific to patients with a variety of conditions. It offers customized nutritional advice and personalized diet plans tailored to individual needs. The department is a special food verification and evaluation technology filing unit approved by the State Administration for Market Regulation, and has qualifications for product inspection, safety and function verification, and clinical trials related to special food registration or filing. The team was honored as a "National Demonstration Unit for Clinical Nutrition Construction" by the Medical Management Institute of the National Health Commission in 2023.
