Biographical sketch
Dr. ZHANG Hu graduated from the Medical College of Anhui Medical University in 2008. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in cardiothoracic surgery at Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He has mainly engaged in clinical practice, research, and teaching work in general thoracic surgery, including lung tumors, mediastinal tumors, esophageal tumors, and thoracic trauma deformities. He specializes in the minimally invasive surgical treatment of common thoracic diseases such as pulmonary nodules, lung tumors, mediastinal tumors, esophageal tumors, tumors at the junction of the head and neck, thoracolumbar fractures/complex thoracic trauma, bronchiectasis, pulmonary sequestration, pneumothorax, pleural effusion, myasthenia gravis, hyperhidrosis, and thoracic deformities. He is skilled in subxiphoid anterior mediastinal tumor resection and proficient in performing median sternotomy, establishing extracorporeal circulation, and vascular reconstruction. He has led or participated in several national and provincial medical research projects and published dozens of professional papers.
