Biographical sketch
Dr. ZHU Linghua obtained his bachelor's and master's degreed in surgery at Zhejiang Medical University, doctorate at Zhejiang University School of Medicine. He joined the Department of General Surgery in 1998. As the Deputy Director of the Department of General Surgery, the Deputy Director of the Center of Gastric Cancer, and the Director of the Center of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery, he has mainly engaged in clinical practice and scientific research of malignant or benign GI diseases, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, bariatric and metabolic surgery. He has rich experience in laparoscopic surgery and comprehensive treatment for gastric cancer.
He was awarded the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award (2009) for minimally invasive technology in abdomen surgery. He is also a specially invited Qianjiang expert of Hangzhou (2022-2024).
