Biographical sketch
Dr. ZHU Yiping graduated from the seven-year clinical medicine program at Zhejiang University School of Medicine with a master's degree in medicine. He subsequently pursued research on the "Early Diagnosis of Gastrointestinal Tumors" at the University of Lübeck in Germany and obtained a doctorate in medicine in 2017. With over 20 years of clinical, research, and teaching experience in general surgery, Dr. Zhu specializes in the standardized diagnosis and treatment of benign and malignant gastrointestinal tumors, cholelithiasis, thyroid diseases, and other common general surgical conditions. He focuses particularly on individualized minimally invasive treatment for gastrointestinal tumors and has also pioneered minimally invasive procedures in metabolic and bariatric surgery. In recent years, he has led or participated in multiple national and provincial research projects and has published over 20 research papers as the first author or corresponding author in SCI-indexed journals and leading domestic journals.
