Biographical sketch

Dr. ZHU Yuefeng graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2005 and joined SRRSH to engage in clinical, teaching, and research work in vascular surgery in the same year. From 2009 to 2010, he completed the advanced fellowship training in vascular surgery specialty in Germany. After returning to China in December 2010, he was the first to carry out laparoscopic aortic surgery. In 2015, he was dispatched as a visiting scholar to further study in vascular surgery at Cabrini Hospital, Alfred Hospital, and Epworth Hospital in Australia. After returning to China, he pioneered minimally invasive day surgery for lower extremity varicose veins. He was promoted to chief physician in December 2019. In 2024, he went to Mayo Clinic in the United States for exchange and study. His scope of diagnosis and treatment covers various arterial and venous stenosis and expansion diseases in vascular surgery, with particular expertise in minimally invasive aesthetic treatment of lower extremity varicose veins, as well as standardized diagnosis and treatment of venous thrombosis. He has led or participated in multiple national and provincial medical research projects and has published dozens of professional papers. He has been involved in the formulation of several guidelines and expert consensus in his field.
