Dr. ZHENG Qinxiang obtained his doctorate in ophthalmology at Zhejiang University School of Medicine. With rich clinical experience, he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of corneal diseases, cataracts, dry eye diseases and other severe, rare or complex anterior segment diseases of the eye. He has performed more than 4000 corneal transplant operations, cataract operations and complicated eye surface reconstruction operations. He has led his surgical team to carry out hundreds of cataract corneal transplants in Tibetan areas, Xinjiang and Qinghai, winning the China Charity Award.

He has presided over and participated in more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial research programs, and has published more than 20 SCI articles. His ten invention patents were granted and two medical devices were put into clinical use. He also won the second prize of the Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award and the third prize of the Ningbo Science and Technology Progress Award.
