Biographical sketch
Dr. ZHOU Liang earned his Master’s degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2009. He completed specialized training in thyroid lesion thermal ablation at Asan Medical Center (Seoul, South Korea), received microsurgery training in Head and Neck Surgery at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences Cancer Hospital (Beijing), and advanced his expertise in comprehensive treatment of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma at the Ninth People’s Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.
His clinical practice focuses on surgical and minimally invasive ablation therapy for benign/malignant thyroid diseases; surgery-based sequential comprehensive treatment for oral squamous cell carcinoma; surgical management of salivary gland and disorders and jaw lesions; minimally invasive and aesthetic reconstruction for maxillofacial trauma.
He also teaches clinical courses for undergraduates and international students, along with continuing medical education. Dr. Zhou has led or co-led multiple provincial-level research projects and published several SCI-indexed papers, including those in JCR Q1 journals.
