As an attending and chief physician of the SRRSH Department of Hepatology and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Zhao is responsible for one clinical group, managing patients with infectious diseases and hepatic diseases. Besides, his duty also includes the training of medical students, residents and fellow physicians. He has been awarded the title of the most excellent clinical teacher of SRRSH. He has conducted basic research in the area of bacterial resistance and has been awarded two grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
