Diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, as well as peptic ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Helicobacter pylori infection, gastrointestinal bleeding, pancreatitis, and the endoscopic treatment of gastrointestinal polyps.
Biographical sketch
Dr. ZHAO Yuan received her PhD from Zhejiang University School of Medicine in 2009 and furthered her studies at the University of California Medical School and the University of Texas. She primarily focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of common and complex digestive diseases, with expertise in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy (small intestine, stomach, and colon), and enteroscopy. Dr. Zhao has led or participated in numerous national and provincial medical research projects and has published over ten academic papers.
