Dr. PAN Hongming has engaged in medical oncology for 38 years and won the People's Famous Medical Excellence Award in 2022. He is deeply versed in tumor chemotherapy, molecular targeted therapy, immunotherapy, radiofrequency ablation therapy and other fields. He is committed to the research of autophagy and tumor-related molecular targets. He has been responsible for more than 10 national major new drug development projects and projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and Zhejiang provincial major science and technology projects. He has led and participated in more than 360 clinical trials of anti-tumor new drugs. Dr. Pan has published more than 200 SCI papers, and a number of his research results have rewritten domestic and international diagnosis and treatment guidelines. In 2001, he put forward a new concept of the construction of tumor internal medicine in the "First Chinese Medical Oncology Forum" and the Chinese Medical Journal. In 2009, he initiated and organized the establishment of the CSCO Expert Committee on Tumor Nutrition Therapy and served as the chairman of the first, second and third sessions, initiated the construction of the National Tumor Nutrition Guidance Center project, and promoted the development of tumor nutrition therapy and rehabilitation support therapy. The medical oncology team led by Dr. Pan is one of the earliest units to carry out radiofrequency ablation of tumors in China.
