Dr. ZHANG Lisan graduated from Zhejiang University School of Medicine and received bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. After joining the workforce, he studied neurology and sleep medicine at Loma Linda University and Stanford University in the United States. He was a visiting scholar at the Sleep Medicine Center of Stanford University in the United States from February 2017 to August 2018, serving as an assistant professor. He studied under Professor Emmanuel Mignot, an academician of the National Academy of Sciences, and received systematic training in modern sleep medicine. He has mainly engaged in clinical practice and scientific research in sleep medicine, and has been involved in advanced research on narcolepsy. He has extensive experience in clinical diagnosis and treatment of other sleep disorders (such as insomnia, sleep apnea disorder, restless legs syndrome, and parasomnias) and common neurological diseases (such as cerebrovascular disease, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and neuroimmune diseases). As the director of the Center for Sleep Medicine, he has trained more than 100 sleep doctors/technicians and made the center a regional sleep medicine training center. He has led or participated in a number of national and provincial medical research projects and published dozens of professional papers.
