Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital Sweeps Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards in National Hospital Competition, with Multiple Cases Receiving National Honors

The 2025 "Healthier People, Superior Experience" Case Competition successfully concluded in Boao, Hainan, on November 16. This event brought together 3,586 cases submitted by 586 medical institutions nationwide, covering ten major themes such as pre-diagnosis services, inpatient care, mutual recognition of examination results, pharmaceutical services, and multidisciplinary collaboration in joint governance and management. The event fully showcased the latest achievements and practical experiences in medical service innovation across China.
Throughout this competition, following project review and preliminary online evaluation, 306 cases entered the national final review, with a qualification rate of just 8%. After intense competition, the cases submitted by the Quality Management Office of Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital (SRRSH), affiliated with Zhejiang University School of Medicine, in collaboration with multiple departments, achieved outstanding results. They secured one Gold Award, one Silver Award, one Bronze Award, and one Excellence Award at the national final review, along with three Distinguished Case Awards and one Excellent Case Award in the East China regional competition. The overall award-winning rate for the submitted cases reached an impressive 90%.
