Five "Small but Strong" Clinical Teams at SRRSH Spark Innovation in Specialized Care.

We’re proud to announce that five elite teams from SRRSH have been selected as Zhejiang Province’s first “Small but Strong” Clinical Innovation Teams. They have opened specialized outpatient clinics, targeting serious or complex, high-incidence diseases that need urgent solutions in the province.

These cutting-edge, multidisciplinary teams are as follows:

The Liver Cancer Team (specializing in tumors >5cm), led by Prof. Cai Xiujun, renowned general surgeon & SRRSH President, includes experts in general surgery, organ transplant, minimally invasive interventions, etc., providing individualized treatment and whole-course management for patients with complex, severe liver tumors.

The Severe Acute Pancreatitis Team, led by Prof. Yu Hong, VP of SRRSH, brings together general surgery, critical care medicine, anesthesiology, ultrasound, and other clinical disciplines’ specialists. The team is committed to the early recognition, precision diagnosis and treatment, and long-term management of severe acute pancreatitis.

The Degenerative Lumbar Spinal Stenosis Team, led by Prof. Fang Xiangqian, Executive President of Grand Canal Campus & a spine surgery pioneer, aspires to be one of the leaders in the domain globally, facilitated by experts in spine surgery, orthopedics, neurology, etc.

The Critical Myocardial Infarction Team, led by cardiology chief Prof. Fu Guosheng, and Prof. Huang He, VP of SRRSH, is dedicated to the treatment of patients with acute myocardial infarction, with members including cath lab nurses, ICU physicians, and cardiac surgeons.

The Intrauterine Adhesions & Thin Endometrium Team, led by Prof. Zhang Songying, VP & fertility specialist. Gathering talents from diverse areas, such as medical imaging, basic and clinical research, and AI, the team creates a new multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment model.
