A national health management demonstration base, the Health Promotion Center of SRRSH has been awarded one of the “Top 50 Tertiary Public Hospital Health Management (Checkup) Institutions in China.” The center is the first unit in Zhejiang Province to offer health checkups as we began to provide outpatient checkups in 1997 and checkups with accommodation in 2002.

Currently, the center operates in Qingchun, Qiantang, Grand Canal, and Shaoxing Campuses with a coordinated development pattern through a standardized quality control system for uniform management across the campuses. The center covers an area of 10,000 square meters, with a daily visitor volume of over 600 people and a cumulative service volume of over 1.5 million cases, including more than 20,000 international patients.

The SRRSH Department of General Practice is one of the first general practice departments established in tertiary hospitals in China, integrating clinical practice, teaching, and scientific research.  Renowned for its domestic leading disciplinary advantages, the department has received educational accreditation from the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) (the only one in China).

Based on the advanced health management model of “three practitioners co-management,” the Health Promotion Center has created the first “precision health management model led by general practitioners” in China by utilizing high-quality clinical medical resources and implementing the general practice outpatient service model and closed-loop service model for health management.

The center offers disease risk assessment, genetic testing, and function management, among other precision health management techniques, and delivers specific health management services for hypertension, medical weight loss, etc. We truly realize personalized health checkups for the whole person throughout the process, showcasing the leading high-quality checkup features of “whole process management and equal improvement in quantity and quality” in China.
