We are seeking scholars who have distinguished themselves with notable achievements and have earned extensive recognition from international peers. This includes Nobel Prize laureates, Turing Award winners, Fields Medalists, or recipients of similar prestigious international accolades. We also welcome members of the Academies of Sciences or Engineering from developed countries, as well as other globally renowned scholars.

We are inviting applications for prestigious positions including Qiushi Distinguished Professor and Qiushi Distinguished Clinician. Ideal candidates should hold a full professorship (or equivalent) at a renowned university. For the position of Qiushi Distinguished Clinician, candidates are typically required to hold both professorship and chief physician titles. The age limit is below 55 years. It is also required for a certain level of international academic influence, along with the corresponding team spirit and organizational management skills.

Applicants are expected to be permanent faculty members at high-level universities recognized both nationally and internationally. Tenured Professors should reach the level of tenured professors at leading universities while Tenured Associate Professors should reach the level of tenured associate professors at prominent universities.

Applicants are expected to be high-level clinical experts or leaders in their disciplines, possessing exceptional clinical diagnosis and treatment skills. They should be capable of enhancing both the domestic and international influence of their fields, as well as advancing the diagnosis and treatment of difficult and complex diseases. Candidates are typically required to hold both chief physician and at least associate professor titles. We are also seeking applicants for research positions. Candidates should generally have a medical education background and currently hold a position as a professor or tenured professor at a high-level university anywhere in the world.

Application Requirements (the official application requirements will be based on the 2025 NSFC Outstanding Young Scientists Fund Program (Overseas) Guidelines):

1. The date of birth is on or after January 1, 1985 (inclusive).

2. Possess a doctoral degree. After obtaining the doctoral degree and before the declaration in 2025, the applicant should have gained a formal teaching or scientific research position in overseas universities, research institutes, or R&D organizations of enterprises, and have a working experience of more than 36 consecutive months; for those who have obtained the doctoral degree overseas and have outstanding performance, the requirement of working experience can be relaxed appropriately.

3. The applicant should achieve scientific research or technical achievements recognized by peer experts in his/her field, and exhibit the potential to become academic leaders in their respective fields.

4. The applicant has not yet worked in China on a full-time basis, or has returned after January 1, 2024. The applicant must have resigned from his/her overseas job or have no job overseas and return to China full-time for at least 3 years after being notified of the grant.

5. Limitations: Only one project can be undertaken at the same level of the National Science and Technology Talent Program, and no application can be made at the reverse level.

Applicants are required to hold a doctorate from a globally renowned university. Ideal candidates should currently hold a position as an assistant or associate professor (or an equivalent role) at an internationally recognized university known for its academic excellence. We are seeking exceptional individuals who stand out among their peers, demonstrating the capability to independently establish and develop research directions. These candidates should exhibit the potential to become academic leaders in their respective fields. The age limit is typically around 35 years old for natural sciences, with some flexibility for humanities and social sciences ( not exceeding 40 years old).

Applicants must have a doctorate from a globally renowned university, a physician qualification certificate, and extensive academic training experience. For A-class positions, candidates should generally not be over 45 years old and should hold titles as Chief Physician or Deputy Chief Physician. Applicants must have achieved significant and outstanding results in clinical diagnosis, treatment, and research. For B-class positions, candidates should generally not exceed 40 years old, with outstanding academic level and potential for development.

Applicants must hold a doctoral degree and be in good physical and mental health. The specific criteria for each position are as follows:

We are seeking applicants aged 32 or younger with a strong educational background in clinical medicine or dentistry and an international outlook. Eligible candidates include Domestic Graduates and Returnees. Requirements for Domestic Graduates: Recent graduates from an eight-year program or doctoral graduates who have earned a Doctor of Clinical Medicine (Stomatology) degree between August 2024 and July 2025.
