Gynecology

Our hospital's Gynecology specialty routinely performs various surgeries, including laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, open abdominal surgery, and colposcopy, providing the most appropriate treatments for all kinds of benign and malignant lesions in the female reproductive system, with an average annual surgical volume exceeding 10,000 cases. Currently, we have developed specialties such as robot-assisted (da Vinci) surgery for malignant gynecological tumors, single-port laparoscopic surgery for benign gynecological tumors, and one-day hysteroscopic diagnosis and treatment. Our department has always adhered to the concept of "fertility preservation", pioneering surgeries such as ovarian branch artery-preserving salpingectomy, cold knife sharp dissection of intrauterine adhesions under hysteroscopy to protect the endometrium, ovarian function-preserving surgery for endometriosis, and myomectomy to improve pregnancy rates, offering new opportunities for many infertile women. We have also conducted multiple national and provincial laparoscopy training sessions, making significant contributions to the development and popularization of laparoscopic technology in hospitals across the country. We became one of the first national training bases for fourth-grade gynecological laparoscopic surgery, and in 2011, our minimally invasive reproductive surgery specialty was recognized as an innovative discipline by the Health Department of Zhejiang Province.
