Biographical Sketch
Cao Qian, M.D., & Ph.D., Professor and Chief Physician of the Gastroenterology Department, Vice Director of IBD Center.Dr. Cao specializes in gastroenterology. She has been working in this field for over 20 years, with a special focus on inflammatory bowel diseases. Her research interest lies in immunomodulators, novel biologic therapy for patients with IBD, patient management and long-term clinical outcomes of IBD. Dr. Cao’s team is also interested in the epidemiological study, health economic research on IBD patients, as well as intestinal immunity, and genetic susceptibility genes of inflammatory bowel diseases in the Chinese population.
