Biographical Sketch
Sheng Xia, Ph.D., Chief Physician and Master’s Supervisor of the Department of Cardiology, Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, especially arrhythmia.
Treatment Services
Arrhythmia interventional therapy, including pacing in bradycardia, ICD implantation in prevention of sudden cardiac death, CRT-D implantation in heart failure and catheter ablation in tachycardia.
Specialty Interests
The role and possible mechanism of the cardiac endogenous and exogenous autonomic nervous system in various arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, atrial tachycardia and ventricular tachycardia; new physiological pacing technology, focusing on low Intensity vagal nerve stimulation.
