Biographical Sketch
Xie Shuduo, M.D. & Ph.D., Deputy Director of the Breast Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center of Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital; Chief Physician of the Surgical Oncology Department. Dr. Xie graduated from Zhejiang University in clinical medicine with a doctoral degree in oncology. Promoted to attending doctor, he studied at Seoul University in Korea and Peter MacCallum Cancer Center in Australia in 2011. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery for breast, thyroid and body surface tumors, the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases, breast cancer chemotherapy, radiotherapy, endocrine and immunotherapy. He is especially skilled at breast cancer breast conserving surgery, radical surgery, breast reconstruction and plastic minimally invasive endoscopic surgery. He dedicates himself to further studies on breast cancer, neoadjuvant chemotherapy, breast cancer resistance, sentinel lymph node biopsy and micrometastasis of breast cancer.
