Biographical Sketch
Qiu Ting, M.D. & Ph.D., Associate Chief Physician of the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine of Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital. Dr. Qiu specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary fibrosis, and lung cancer. She earned her medical degree from West China Medical School of Sichuan University and completed her post-doctoral fellowships in Genetic Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. She is the project leader of a National Natural Science Foundation of China-sponsored study of the molecular basis of activation of fibroblasts in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) patients.
