Biographical Sketch
Wang Xianfa, M.D., Deputy Director and Senior Attending of General Surgery; Director of Gastrointestinal Surgery. Dr. Wang specializes in gastric cancer, colorectal carcinoma, biliary and periampullary carcinoma, hilar cholangiocarcinoma, and complex biliary tract disease. Being a young and creative surgeon, he had already performed several difficult procedures in abdominal surgeries. After completing a surgical residency, he joined SRRH and began his life as a laparoscopic surgeon. He developed a very active practice, especially in laparoscopic gastrectomy, laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair, and laparoscopic common bile duct exploration.
