Overview

The Reproductive Center of SRRSH, founded in 1998, is one of the earliest reproductive centers in China and the birthplace of the first ICSI baby in Zhejiang province. Integrating medical care, teaching and research, we are members of many important associations and established Zhejiang Provincial Clinical Medical Research Center of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Key Laboratory of Reproductive Disorders. The department is composed of a female reproductive unit, a male reproductive unit and IVF laboratories, covering genetics counseling, reproductive minimally invasive surgery and reproductive scientific research. Under the leadership of Professor Zhang Songying, we have great achievements in the diagnosis and treatment of difficult reproductive disorders and have made for a series of important theoretical innovations and technological breakthroughs. For example, the number of IVF cycles and their success rate has ranked first in Zhejiang Province for the past four consecutive years. In the past three years, the department has attracted more than 700,000 patients with infertility and reproductive disorders from all over the country, and 40,000 people were given ART treatments in our center. The clinical pregnancy rate of fresh embryo transfer is over 65%.   The clinical pregnancy rate of frozen embryo transfer is 55%-60%, and the clinical pregnancy rate of single blastocyst transfer with pre-implantation genetic testing is over 60%.

[Achievement of Research]

The department has been responsible for 1 National key research and development program project, 1 National Natural Science Joint Fund project, 1 international cooperation project and more than 20 national natural fund projects and a number of provincial and ministerial key projects. More than 100 SCI papers have been published in authoritative journals such as Sci Adv, Nuc Acid Res, Nat Commun, Redox Biol, EMBO J, Nano Letter, Small, Am J Hum Genet, Hum Mol Genet, etc. We also won the first prize in the 2020 Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award.

[International Exchange and Cooperation]

Our department has a close relationship with Mayo Clinic and Loma Linda University Medical Center. The number of domestic and overseas exchange scholars each year is nearly 100.
