SRRSH aspires to be a "pioneer" in hospital administration and concentrates on scientific governance.
In order to develop the "SRRSH Model" in accordance with international standards, SRRSH has been studying the management practices and organizational structures of renowned medical institutions worldwide since its founding. SRRSH has established a public hospital management standard with demonstrable impacts, continuing to enhance the institutional management system, and pioneered a number of hospital management models in China.
The first group of "National Sentinel Hospitals for Standardized Management of Daytime Medical Quality" has been authorized by the National Health Commission to be SRRSH. The most recent average duration of stay is 4.58 days, and the percentage of medicine is 23.4%, which consistently keeps the best rate in China and guarantees the effective and safe delivery of healthcare.
The hospital has established a new pattern of coordinated development among the six major campuses—Qingchun Campus, Qiantang Campus, Grand Canal Campus, Xinjiang Alaer Campus, Shuangling Campus, and Shaoxing Campus—based on integrated, uniform, and unique management strategies.
The hospital spearheaded the development of about ten health industry norms and standards and encouraged the adoption of the policy Notice on the Pilot Work of Medical Insurance Settlement for Day Surgery in Zhejiang, leveraging its institutional management advantages.
As the first medical facility in Zhejiang Province to successfully finish the fourth cycle of re-evaluation for a tertiary A-level hospital, SRRSH was also the first to be awarded the People's Government of Zhejiang Province's Quality Management Innovation Award. The hospital has seen 56,464 visits and 3,465 groups from around the nation as of May 2024.
